Rabobank is the world’s leading food and agribusiness bank. THERE were asked to help develop their internal branding and signage across five levels of a new regional hub for their Australia and New Zealand markets.
Drawing inspiration from the business’ core agricultural offer we developed a series of textural patterns associated with farming, and in particular the distinct graphic language of cartography and land-mapping. We then applied this distinct design language across a variety of touchpoints throughout.
A primary driver for the branding was to ensure seamless integration with the interior design, which utilised a warm, ‘domestic’ materiality throughout the fit out. A bold monochromatic style, paired with a simple wayfinding system and simple iconography was created, resulting in an understated and elegant spatial experience that helped to harmonise different floors and spaces.
The final outcome not only works from a operational aspect, but helps to enhance the 'residential' interior design and add a subtle element of fun.
THERE were engaged by Rabobank to coordinate all graphics and wayfinding as part of the total refurbishment of our existing office into a new agile environment. The creative team were very quick to understand our business and our values and came up with several very exciting options and ideas. The final outcome not only works from a signage aspect but really captures the essence of the overall design by Geyer and enhances the 'residential' feel as well as adding a subtle element of fun and elegance. Many visitors to our new client floor have actually noticed the signage and graphics and commented on how much they liked them... which is a great tribute to THERE.
